Polynesian Adventure Tours/Gray Line Hawaii was founded by Bob George and Don Brown in 1977 on Oahu. It has grown into the acknowledged premier tour and transportation company in Hawaii.

The Maui office opened in 1985 followed quickly by the Big Island and Kauai. Polynesian Adventure Tours/Gray Line Hawaii currently employs more than four hundred staff members. Building on our success, Polynesian Adventure Tours/Gray Line Hawaii has developed a robust business not only servicing tours but in providing for the needs of private charters and group movements. After being acquired by NCL America in 2004, Polynesian Adventure Tours expanded its shore excursions enterprise, not just for NCL but for most of the major cruise ship lines who port in Hawaii. Our buses, with their distinctive plumeria design make Polynesian Adventure Tours/Gray Line Hawaii one of the most recognizable tour companies in Hawaii. Our fleet of buses has grown considerably from one bus in 1977 to more than 140 buses on four islands today.

We continually purchase and upgrade our equipment to bring our customer the highest quality service in the industry. While our tours get top marks, it our employees who make each touring experience the best that it can be. Polynesian Adventure Tours/Gray Line Hawaii has the distinction of employing some of the most highly regarded tour guides in the islands.

Each of the drivers receive rigorous training.
